We built an AI-powered communication platform that embeds English fluency directly into daily work—helping teams collaborate globally with clarity, confidence, and speed.
Explore Case StudyThe client wanted an English learning app for employees. What they actually needed was a workplace system where English supported real work—not isolated lessons. We designed a context-aware learning platform that embeds English practice directly into meetings, emails, and daily communication. We mapped the top blockers for learners: fear of making mistakes, lack of feedback, and practice fatigue. Then we built responses to each into the product.
• English training existed, but it lived outside real work. What employees learned in sessions rarely showed up in meetings, emails, or client conversations.
• Learning materials were generic and disconnected from roles, industries, and daily responsibilities, making practice feel irrelevant and easy to skip.
• Employees relied heavily on translators, PDFs, and past email threads, slowing communication and increasing hesitation during real-time interactions.
• Fear of making mistakes and lack of immediate, practical feedback reduced participation and confidence, especially in high-stakes business scenarios.
• As a result, communication gaps persisted across global teams—impacting clarity, speed, and collaboration despite ongoing training efforts.
We weren't designing another learning interface. We were shaping how employees felt while using English at work. Every decision from tone to interaction depth was made to reduce hesitation and make communication feel safe, relevant, and practical. The goal was simple: help people use English confidently while they worked, not make them feel like they were "studying" again.
The platform spoke like a helpful colleague, not a teacher. Clear, encouraging, and calm. Feedback focused on intent and improvement, never on calling out mistakes or slowing users down.
Neutral, low-contrast colors were used to keep attention on content, not controls. The palette stayed professional and understated, supporting long workday usage without visual fatigue.
Learning followed real workflows. Short prompts, contextual suggestions, and quiet nudges appeared only when useful during emails, meetings, or prep moments—never as interruptions.
Layouts were minimal and predictable. Clear spacing, familiar patterns, and readable typography helped users stay focused on communication instead of figuring out the interface.

By aligning English support with Japanese work culture—thoughtful, precise, and non-intrusive—the platform helped teams communicate globally without disrupting how they already worked.

Average session time increased compared to traditional workplace English learning tools, driven by contextual and role-based interactions

Employees reported feeling more comfortable expressing ideas in English, especially in structured settings like client calls and internal reviews.

Quiet, real-time guidance helped reduce pauses, second-guessing, and reliance on translation tools during live interactions.

Short, predictable learning moments aligned well with Japanese work rhythms, leading to steady and sustained engagement.

Instant phrasing suggestions appeared without breaking focus, respecting the need for uninterrupted, efficient workflows.

Across tracked pilot projects, no communication breakdowns were reported during cross-border meetings, emails, or follow-ups.

We needed more than an English training tool. Our teams were already busy, and anything disruptive simply wouldn't work in our environment. The platform's careful integration into everyday tasks was noteworthy. Employees could practice their English in private, receive assistance when necessary, and use it right away in actual meetings and emails. Without imposing change, confidence grew as communication became more transparent over time.
Clear communication shouldn't add pressure. And learning English shouldn't feel like another task on the calendar.
We help organizations design systems where language support blends quietly into everyday work. So teams communicate better, without changing how they operate.
